Graphite Flanged Bushings for Scissor-Lift Arm Pivots

A scissor linkage rotates through a limited angle while the mechanism geometry and bearing reactions change. An MPGZ/OFP01-style graphite flanged bushing can be considered where the pin requires radial guidance and the arm has an identified sliding thrust face. Selection is based on the machine drawing and duty, not the platform load alone.

Review the pivot across the full lift-arm geometry
The pivot reaction can vary markedly with arm position. A flange may also contact an adjacent arm or spacer as the assembly deflects. Identify the most demanding linkage positions, pin support and any force from side loading. This bearing enquiry does not establish a rating or approval for a lifting machine.
Start with the matching BONIU product construction. Send the assembly section as well as the individual bearing drawing so that the working contact, locating surfaces and installation access can be reviewed together.
Dimensions and operating data for quotation
| Review item | Required information |
|---|---|
| Pivot geometry | Pin diameter, arm and boss widths, sleeve length, flange thickness and spacer stack. |
| Position-dependent loads | Radial and axial reactions at low, intermediate and raised positions, with load reversals. |
| Movement and exposure | Articulation angle, lift cycles, dwell, shaft finish, dust, water and maintenance access. |
| Purchase specification | Drawing revision, quantity, units, exact material or composite specification, finish, inspection-document requirements and delivery destination. |
Selection boundaries and installation
Check pin alignment through the paired arms and verify that axial clamping acts through the intended stack. Avoid unintended preload on the sliding flange. Confirm retention and wear-inspection access with the equipment designer. Graphite plugs do not eliminate assessment of contamination, impact or uneven face contact.
Material and replacement approval
For copper-alloy parts, state the exact standard and grade required by the design. JDB/500# and geometry codes do not establish chemical composition. Do not treat different national alloy designations as interchangeable without checking their specifications. Product colour and a reused image cannot confirm material. Required documentation, dimensions and manufacturing scope are reviewed with the quotation.
The application description is a design-review starting point. No stock availability, service-life guarantee, machine approval, universal load limit or test result is claimed. Contact pressure, motion, temperature, counterface condition and the assembled load path must be checked for the chosen specification.
Purchasing questions
Can the platform capacity be used as the pin load?
No. Supply the linkage reactions or the geometry needed for the machine designer to determine them.
Does every pivot require a graphite-plugged flange?
Only the specified sliding contact needs the approved lubrication arrangement. Some pivots may use separate thrust elements.
Can this be ordered as a universal lift replacement?
No. Provide the machine-interface drawing, exact dimensions and operating conditions.
Can the original product image be used to approve this application?
No. It illustrates the bearing structure. Use the approved part and assembly drawings to confirm dimensions, material, clearance and duty.
