Lubricated Bronze Flanged Bushings for Seed-Drill Linkages

Seed drill parallel linkage bushings guide the pivot pins that let a row unit follow ground contours. A lubricated solid-bronze or specified copper-alloy flanged sleeve can be reviewed where the linkage drawing uses this form. The flange may locate the arm axially, with any sliding thrust duty separately defined.

Control pivot play while the row unit follows the ground

Soil, dust and water can enter from the sleeve ends. Linkage movement may be intermittent and include reversals or transport shocks. Worn pins and oval housing bores can contribute to play even when the replacement bushing is new. Review the paired-arm geometry and the complete wear condition.

Selection boundaries and installation

Inspect the pin and housing before specifying a replacement size. Press the sleeve squarely and keep the flange seated without distorting it. Confirm that fastening the linkage does not clamp an intended sliding face. Establish the lubricant and access points before the assembly is returned to service.

Material and replacement approval

For this plain-metal construction, specify the exact bronze or brass grade and standard together with the external lubrication arrangement. CuSn12, C93200 and other regional reference grades are reviewed individually rather than treated as interchangeable. Product colour and a reused image cannot confirm material. Required documentation, dimensions and manufacturing scope are reviewed with the quotation.

Agree the material, counterface, operating clearance and acceptance criteria before approving a replacement. Include any required dimensional inspection, material documentation or sample review with the RFQ so it can be addressed in the quotation.

Purchasing questions

Is this a graphite self-lubricating bushing?

No. The starting construction is smooth solid metal and needs an agreed lubrication arrangement.

Will a new bushing remove all row-unit play?

Not if pins, housings or other linkage positions are worn. Measure the complete assembly.

Can I order an inch replacement from metric measurements?

State the original units, measured dimensions and tolerances explicitly. Do not round a fit-critical size without drawing approval.

Can the original product image be used to approve this application?

No. It illustrates the bearing structure. Use the approved part and assembly drawings to confirm dimensions, material, clearance and duty.
